What Olympic event can you do?

http://www.happynews.com/news/782008/accomplishments-athletes-40.htm
I'm over 40 and some days I can't get my butt out the door to walk the dog. These people are setting records and doing amazing things.
Now 4o is not old, but your body does begin to slow down if you don't take care of it. It begins to go south. But these people have fought against that process.
This brings be to the Olympics.
What Olympic sport would you love to participate in?
Or if it isn't a sport what wacky thing should be?
I love water. I love to swim so I think I'd compete in swimming.
On the other hand if agonizing were a sport I'd be a gold medalist.
So what talent or interest do you have?
thanks,
cmr

Definitely the Online Sudoku Championships - it helps me get my thoughts in order if a chapter is going wrong and I'm getting fairly good at it. I may even switch off the 'show errors' button sometime soon.

Oh - you wanted me to get up off the chair? Nah, sorry - not happening.....

I keep fairly fit hiking and lifting light weights, but if I were a real athlete, I'd love to be an archer. Robin Hood captured my imagination years and years ago, and I write about a young woman who's a whiz with a bow and arrow. Me? Well, I can dream. Interesting post, Chris.

Sudoku hug. I can only do the easy ones.
I like to hike also. I have a dog that will walk until his legs fall off so I have a companion. And sometimes I lift weights.

I used to be a pretty darn good twirler in my day - could do a six spin. Now I'm lucky if I can do a one spin without falling over. So, since this is a what-if scenario, I'm going with baton twirling (and the figure that went with it!) :)
