New workout.
I actually like to workout most of the time, but I get bored.
This looked pretty interesting.
I like yoga, but not first thing in the morning. That to me is a night time activity.
But make it cardio and I'm usually, just not too heavy duty. Crossfit is not for me.
What I love to do is walk. I could walk all day.
I have a dog that would walk with me, too.
And I like to hike.
We have a hiking area near us so I try to get there with the dog once a week.
I pencil it in for whatever day looks the best that week.
Thankfully I can adjust my work schedule to do it.
So what is your favorite form of exercise?

Happy News Monday - Chocolate
Reservatrol found in chocolate and cocoa.
I'll admit I'm not a huge chocolate fan. If I'm going to eat it, it will be dark and expensive.
And probably be accompanied by red wine.
Reservatrol is supposed to be good for you. Some studies suggest it keeps your heart healthy. Other studies suggest it helps with maintaining the proper blood sugar level. It must do something.
I find that the media jumps on these things as if there is one magic bullet to good health.
There isn't.
Eat right. Exercise. Get enough sleep.
No one wants to hear that.
People want to hear they can eat what they want and still be healthy. If they listened to their bodies they would knw that isn't true.
I've learned that I feel best when I eat a lot of veggies. Thankfully I love veggies so it isn't a hardship. I just have to expand my repetoire or food gets boring.
And the days I eat more of other things? I'm tired. Not focused.
So what do you know you need to eat that makes you feel good?
I'm off to have some celery and peanut butter.

Good news for mice
http://www.happynews.com/news/812008/drug-gives-couch-potato-mice-benefits-workout.htm
This article talks about a new drug that gives mice the same benefits as exercise.
I'm writing this after working out for an hour this morning.
I don't hate exercise. I do like the energy I get from it, but there are some days it just doesn't get done. This pill would be fantastic. I wouldnt feel guilty on those days. Or feel fat.
Right now it is only for mice.
Darn.
Guess I still have to get my butt out the door to walk the dog.
There are weight loss products on the market.
But have you read the label for Alli?
Greasy explosive diarrhea. So pick up Alli and Depends.
I think I'll stay fat.
But here's the question.
If there was a pill that gave the same benefits as exercise would you take it regardless of the side effects?
